Amazing oasis of greens in the concrete jungle of manhattan. The green areas may be better maintained but overall looks and feels great. This place is popular amongst tourists and health freaks, good for running, exercises and yoga. The view from the river side is breathtaking. Would highly recommend this park
A captivating sanctuary of lush foliage amid the urban expanse of Manhattan, this oasis stands out with its well-maintained green spaces that contribute to an overall splendid ambiance. Embraced by both tourists and fitness enthusiasts, the park offers an ideal setting for running, exercise, and yoga. The breathtaking view from the riverside further enhances the park's allure. I wholeheartedly recommend this enchanting retreat.
Wonderful spot to stop by and people watch or read a book.
Plenty of space to play with children in a beautiful setting.
Running along the river park is common and you can also take a stroll for miles should you want to.
There are bathrooms along the river park too.
Composting area is found at the brown bins at pier 66.
Grass area closed for restoration over the winter months.
Gets very busy at weekends and after 6pm in the week.
I love this park, with its beautiful green lawns and breathtaking views of the Hudson River. We visited during Labor Day weekend and started walking at Pier 62 towards the Trade Center. There were some kayakers having fun in the river as well. We stopped at The Carousel with hand carved animals of New York State. Really cool and a little weird! You can ride a unicorn and also a sturgeon or a horseshoe crab! As we walked further downtown we stopped at Brookfield Center and had the best ice cream I ever had at Le District. All in all it was a lovely day filled with sunshine and a cool breeze from the river.
It's an awesome place to go to summer outings. The natural view on the river side is mesmerizing. Loved the place.
Really like the Hudson River Park. We walked over from the High Line and spent some time on "Little Island" which we had not been to before
It is lovely little retreat with great view over the Hudson River.
As the name suggests, it is a small island with three main areas which are beautifully set between paths, vegetation beds and trees.
There are restrooms, a small food area and then the elevated viewpoint over the river and the "Amph", a small amphitheater with stage.
Lovely park overlooking the Hudson River. Nice place to walk and jog.
A long walk along the Hudson River. Lots of restaurants and sights to see. Lots of flowers and animals. Also has playgrounds, mini golf, basketball ball courts and beach volleyball court. It has a beautiful carousel with a nautical theme.
